The Burns Monument situated in the Kay Park, Kilmarnock. This print shows how it would have looked in the 1950's. The monument had seen years of attack, the outer pillars were pulled down and a steel fence had to be erected to save it from further damage. It was destroyed by fire in 2005 but some refurbishment work has been carried out and now is The Burns Monument Centre and houses a wedding venue, Robert Burns Library, local history collection and Council Offices.
