Mauchline's National Robert Burns Memorial sits at the Kilmarnock end of the village and has been featured on postcards over the years. Unfortunately in 2011, the Burns Tower as it is known locally was closed to the public, It is now a fine art gallery housing the works of Elaine Johnston.
